Trust Network

Trust Network

As affluent clients approach retirement age, many will likely begin to shift their planning emphasis from capital accumulation to capital preservation, and may consider moving substantial portions of their assets into a trust.  Trusts are one of the most effective tools we can use to help our clients protect their assets, manage future estate tax liabilities, and help ensure the efficient distribution of their assets to their heirs.

Common Reasons for Establishing a Trust

  • Provide for family members now and in the future
  • Ensure effective management of assets in the event of incapacity
  • Protect assets
  • Fund philanthropic interests
  • Potentially reduce future estate taxes
  • Direct the disposition of assets upon death

Trust Network, Pershing’s open architecture platform, enables us and our clients to receive expert trust administration services while we continue to serve as the investment manager for our clients’ trust assets.  Trust Network offers access to full trustee services, agent for trustee services, as well as trust reporting.

Currently, we have access to the following providers:

The Advisory Trust Company of Delaware (formerly AST Capital Trust)

Part of the Wilmington Trust corporate family, Advisory Trust oversees approximately $1.3 billion in assets and provides directed trustee and trust administration services for high-net-worth individuals and families.  Advisory Trust works exclusively with investment professionals, assisting them in helping their clients achieve their financial goals by using the full range of trust strategies available under Delaware law.

Reliance Trust

Reliance Trust Company offers an integrated trust solution designed to help investment professionals provide their clients with a full array of industry-leading personal trust services at a competitive fee.  Reliance is one of the largest independent trust companies in the nation with more than $69 billion in trust assets.

Santa Fe Trust, Inc.
